Sony宣佈將於時間11月7日晚上11點展開《死亡擱淺》倒計時活動，屆時 TGA 創始人 Geoff Keighley、小島秀夫以及演員們將出席這一活動並且會進行直播。
Geoff Keighley 將會主持這次的倒計時活動，不過目前還不確認哪些《死亡擱淺》演員會出席這一活動。活動內容細節也暫未公開。

此外，在紐約還將舉行《死亡擱淺》藝術展，展覽將從當地時間11月6日到11月9日舉行，地點為14th Street Park。參加活動需要提前註冊門票。屆時還會有遊戲周邊的販售區，無需購票，免費向公眾開放。
《死亡擱淺》將於 11 月 8 日登陸 PS4 平台。
